Vintage Coco Joe "Toothy the Tiki" Lava Ashtray

Hawaii, cast in lava. Coco Joe's made these in Hawaii from crushed volcanic rock — heavy, matte black, with that slightly gritty stone feel that no plastic reproduction ever gets right. Toothy the Tiki grins out of the front with white jewel eyes set into the face.

Peak tiki era, and it looks the part sitting on a bar, a shelf or a coffee table.

Great condition with some signs of use, as you'd expect for its age.
